Hi, I’m Lara.
I’ve started my own health and wellbeing journey with Holly in October 25, and its been an amazing journey of self discovery so far. Its been great to meet some of you already. For me 2026 is about looking after myself inside and out, and I’d love to share something with you that has been truly life-changing for me and so many women I work with.
About Me
I’m 43, mum to three (well… four if we count my husband 😉), and the proud owner of Arena Creative Hair, my salon on 70 Ebrington Street, just a two-minute walk from Drake Circus.
I’ve been hairdressing for 25 years and running my salon for 16. Over the past year, I’ve trained as a Colour Analyst and Personal Stylist because I wanted to give women more than “just a haircut” I wanted to give them confidence, self-belief, and the tools to embrace their natural beauty.
Being a mum of 3, I found over the past 5 years I'd lost my self. I got carried away with trends and hand me downs. There was no time to think about my self. I was lucky if my knickers were on the right way, and had time to brush my teeth before the school run.
I know what it’s like to feel flat when you look in the mirror, or to spend money on clothes that never get worn. That little voice saying “I don’t look my best today” – it’s not you. Often it’s just the wrong colour, the wrong cut, or the wrong shape for your natural beauty.
I’m peri-menopausal myself, so I also know how important it is to surround ourselves with positivity, care, and kindness. When we feel good, it radiates.
